(11-06-13) Pine
State will be playing at the Duke Coffehouse in Durham, NC on
Saturday November 9th. Pine State shows are a rare event and this is a
celebration of WXDU's 30th Anniversary.
Other bands on the bill include Blue-Green Gods, Jett Rink, Torch Marauder,
and Malt Swagger.
(11-18-11) Nine
Fingered Thug had a great time playing with Blastocyst at the
Nightlight this past Wednesday. NFT have two more upcoming shows. They
will play live on WXDU radio
in Durham on Sunday, 11/20 (4PM). Then NFT will play at the Nightlight
again on Saturday, 12/3 with Savage Knights, Yohimbe, and Buttfinger (from
Richmond, VA). Irene Moon will be moving away from North Carolina after
December, so the 12/3 show will probably be the band's last performance
with Irene.

'Women Are Magic' cassettes are now available. Only 100 of these were
pressed and it includes a download card that allows you to access a free
digital version of the songs.
We also have Nine Fingered Thug vinyl stickers. The
design features the initials "N.F.T." written in severed fingers.
These will be included for free with any orders of Nine Fingered Thug
cassettes or 7-inches.
(10-4-11) A
flurry of Nine Fingered Thug
activity. NFT will be playing a few shows up north this coming weekend.
On Friday, 10/7 they'll be playing at O'Reilly's in Philadelphia at 2672
Coral Street. The lineup is Ape!, The Prostelyte, Nine Fingered Thug,
and Hive Lords. On Saturday, 10/8, NFT will be in New York and will be
performing at Red
Light District at 1034 Bay 25th Street, Far Rockaway, NY. The lineup
on Saturday will be Nine Fingered Thug, Skatman, York Factory Complaint,
and Clinical Piss. Starts around 9:00 and admission is $5.00.
NFT should have the new 'Women Are Magic' cassettes available at these
shows as well as some nice new stickers.
(8-16-11) A
few upcoming Nine Fingered Thug
shows. NFT will be playing at Kings in Raleigh on 8/25 with Rocket Cottage.
They will also be playing the following night, Friday, 8/26 at Nightlight
in Chapel Hill with Lake Isle and Netherfriends. NFT is also nailing down
the details for a few shows in the northern US sometime in early October
(probably New York and Philadelphia).
(8-16-11) Some
new Nine Fingered Thug material will be released sometime soon via Hollow
Bunny. It will be a limited edition 6-song cassette with download card
entitled "Women Are Magic". Only 100 are going to be pressed,
so watch for it.
(5-26-11) Even
more Nine Fingered Thug
recording has taken place at Track and Field in Carrboro, NC. The band
has 6 brand new unreleased songs and will be doing one final mixdown on
June 1st. NFT just played the Savage Weekend Festival at the Nighlight
in Chapel Hill a few weeks back and gave a little preview of the new material.
Look for more live shows sometime in the near future. The debut 7-inch
is still available in our catalog.
(3-13-11) Nine
Fingered Thug has gone back in to the recording studio to record
some new material at Track and Field in Carrboro, NC. NFT will hopefully
get back to playing more live shows sometime this summer.

Thug, entitled "Bitter Ballads" is here. Nine Fingered
Thug plays sludgy noise rock and hail from Raleigh. Featuring members

Nine Fingered Thug's next live performance will be on December 9th, opening
for Double Negative and Devour at Tir
Na Nog in Raleigh, NC. It's part of WKNC's Local Band Local Beer feature.

State will be playing at the Local 506 in Chapel Hill, NC on Friday
September 5th, 2008. Pine State shows are a rare event these days (the
last show was 8 years ago), since the various members are scattered around
various parts of the country. Don't miss this one!
(12-10-07) The Morbid
Ramblers will be playing at Slim's in downtown Raleigh, NC
on Friday December 14th. This performance is part of a birthday celebration
for our friend Michael Pilmer.

(10-12-06) Grampa Bampa, the former lead vocalist and percussionist for Krapper Keeper, will be opening up for MC Trachiotomy at Kings Barcade in Raleigh, NC on October 21st. MC Trachiotomy is a truly warped MC from 9th Ward New Orleans and is a frequent collaborator of Mr. Quintron. It should be a fun night.
(7-5-06) The Morbid Ramblers will opening the show for THOR at the Local 506 in Chapel Hill, NC on July 9th. The Morbid Ramblers will start things off at 9:00 sharp, so get there early. are sold out of Grand Pricks CDs. There are no more copies of the "High
Kicks to Your Dicks" CD or the live bootleg CD-R left. Sorry! Only
315 copies of "High Kicks..." were pressed, so if you've got
one, you're lucky. We STILL HAVE copies of the "Even Hitler Had a
Girlfriend" 7" available. Only 302 copies of that were pressed,
so get them while you can.
